Academic grading in Canada varies by province, level of education (high school or university, e.g.), institution (for example Queens), and faculty (for example, Ryerson or Université du Québec à Montréal). The following are commonly used conversions from percentage grades to letter grades, however, this is not necessarily meaningful, since there is not a uniform scheme for assigning percentage grades either.

I'm taking applied classes in highschool and im worried i dont have a future?
Q. I live in Canada and I am taking all applied classes and I am going into grade 11 now so now my classes are called college level. I used to take academic classes in grade 9 but I couldn't handle it. I sort of feel that because i'm not taking any university level courses I am ruining my future. Am I?

A. If you are taking classes to learn subjects/skills that you enjoy , you are not ruining your future. Everyone doesn't need to go to college to be successful. Find something you love and make a living at it! You will never be able to stick with something just because you think you should like it. MIT has free online classes look into these too. Maybe you are wired for a more technical type position Best of Luck! Jana
