Why does the media not tell us anything about passage of the Indefinite Detention of Americans Act?
Q. I didn't see anything in the main stream media, the newspaper, or local news on the passage of the NDAA on Bill of Rights day, that gives the President the ultimate authority to order the arrest, indefinite detention, torture and execution of any American citizen he wants. Is the destruction of our rights under the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Amendments not newsworthy? Sorry, Bluemax, but Senator Feinstein's amendment was rejected and the President signed the Indefinite Detention of Americans into law. Get with the program.

Please help...question about immigration and marriage in US?
Q. Hoping someone out there knows this. My boyfriend was born in South America and came to US age 7. He grew up here and is now 26...He informed me a few months ago that his visa expired and has filed paperwork with a lawyer to obtain new one. He had been bringing up marriage, and then told me he cant marry due to his immigration status. Is this true?? I read it takes years and years to get a visa as the government only issues so many per year and a long list are waiting...I love him and want to be his wife, will we never be able to marry??? To the idiot mocking me about South America...I know it's not a country, that was for people w/ common sense to get. A person born in Brazil is born in South America. Read between the lines.

Why do Americans complain about Iran funding terrorists, when the US funded Saddam's war against the Iranians?
Q. So Iranians backing a few insurgents who are trying to defend their region of the world is monstrous... But when the US backs a war against Iran that killed about a million Iranians and devastated the economy it's okay? What the hell? This isn't very Christian, and this seems very hypocritical to me. It seems like EVERY nation that accepts help from the US loses in the end because the US will simply turn on you when it suits their needs.

A. I think people like that are nothing. No soul, no sensitivity, no heart. They're nobodies. If something like that were to happen to them, I'm sure that's the last thing that they'd want to hear. I haven't lost anyone in the attacks, but I can tell you right now, it doesn't matter because I have a heart and it goes out to those who did.

How do I go about moving to the US?
Q. I am a Canadian citizen but my girlfriend lives in the US (Texas specifically). I don't have any plans or timelines or anything, but it's a possibility that I will want to move there sometime soon. We've been together about a year and I'd like to be with her... So, I'm wondering what I would have to do to be able to move there? What steps do I have to take? What's the process like? Also, if I wanted to just go there for a couple months, is that possible? Or do I have to do something to be able to go over there for that amount of time? Any advice you could give me would be mostly appreciated. Thanks! I already know she's not a dude, but thanks. XD

what does reality tv's sucess say about us?
Q. You cant escape it its everywhere. they invade in some senseless form almost every channel of every country in the world, including our internet and radio stations! But why has superficial, no substance shows like "americas next top model", "jersey shore" and "big brother" captivated millions around the world, launching these shows and the people in it into international success and fame. what in our lives is missing so much that we need to degrade our brains and watch these (in my opinion) tragic tv shows? why!?? and what does it say about our society (or therefore the people in it) that they have had so much sucess!?? discuss people!:)

Is President Obama and the rest of the US Government in denial about the violence in Mexico?
Q. Why are we over in Afghanistan policing those borders when people are dying every day along the US-Mexico border? Has President Obama once visited El Paso, Texas? They sit here and hurl insults at Joe Arpaio and others, yet are unwilling to do anything about what's going on. In fact, they're doing nothing but helping the cartels. They gave them guns after all.

Questions about college in US?
Q. If you got for example; 550 - reading 500 - Writing But only 290 in math Would there be any 4year college that would consider admission to that student?
Asked by - Thu Dec 22 12:58:38 2011 - Higher Education (University +) - 2 Answers - Comments

A. Typically colleges look at your Math, and Reading together. And Typically they look for a 1000 or over. For a DECENT school. Honestly, 290 doesn't look too good. Take it again. Even to just focus on the math. Because if you do better on the math, and suck in all the other sections, you can always superscore it. Meaning, take the best grades of each section on either test to get a better score. If not you can always go to a community college.

How do you think us members of the WWE Universe can make this happen?
Q. Just like the NFL and MLB have their games brodcast, I think the WWE should have their shows brodcast. When people have to run out during the game they can turn it on in the car. How about members of the WWE Universe? Id like to be able to stay updated while I run out, wouldn't you? How do you think us members of the WWE Universe can get through to Vince Mc Mahon?
